Mnemo takes the words you keep forgetting in Anki and weaves them into short stories and example sentences you can read and hear — so they finally stick, in context.
Listen as you read. Every story and sentence can be read aloud — press play, or click any word to start from there while the current word lights up. Audio uses your browser’s free built-in voices, or natural-sounding Microsoft Azure speech if you add your own key. Choose a voice under Settings → Audio.
Pairs with Yomitan. Yomitan is a free pop-up-dictionary browser extension: hover any word on a web page for an instant definition and add it to Anki in one click. Yomitan is how you find and add new words; Mnemo takes the ones you keep forgetting and turns them into stories you can read and hear.
Everything stays on your machine — Mnemo talks to your own Anki and language model straight from your browser, and nothing is uploaded. Because this site is on the web, you allow it to reach them once:
These check live against your machine. Anything red is explained step-by-step in Settings.
